The Story of Peggy Penguin:

It all began in the winter of 2019 when I, the father of Kaylee and Chandler, was deployed overseas. During my absence, their mother stumbled upon a large stuffed penguin at a non-profit organization known as “The Airmen’s Attic”. Finding it adorable, she decided to bring it home. Kaylee took an instant liking to the penguin and named it Peggy. Peggy became a fixture on our couch, positioned near a window. One morning, Kaylee noticed Peggy feeling unusually cold and speculated that Peggy must have ventured outside to visit Santa. Thus, the legend of Peggy Penguin was born. Kaylee was told that Peggy Penguin was entrusted to watch over her and her brother, ensuring their good behavior. Every night, after they fell asleep, Peggy would embark on a journey back to the North Pole to report to Santa. As Christmas approached, Kaylee learned that Peggy would soon be departing. Saddened by the news, she was comforted with the promise of a small gift from Peggy on her final day. Since then, Peggy Penguin has become a cherished family Christmas tradition.
